Village Park Restaurant

Hi Semua!

Portion makanan pun ok.

Today I went to Damansara in order to have the most recommended Malaysians breakfast, Nasi Lemak. This restaurant is totally a local’s favourite, as there’s a lot of people coming and queuing up for the food and maybe cause I came on the weekend. As for the nasi lemak’s taste, its a pure satisfaction as for the savoury and crispy taste of the fried chicken, the spices of the sambal, gives only a hint of spicy taste, but overall, its delicious. The portion of the food was also nice.
  • Location: Village Park Restaurant, Damansara
  • Rating: 8.5/10
  • Recommendation: Highly recommended for breakfast/lunch
  • Price: Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM10.50)

After CIP UPM - Reflective Blog

Hi Everyone!

Here’s to another reflective blog of mine for the  session of CIP UPM. What is this CIP UPM? For those who not know, CIP stands for Community Internet Project and UPM stands for Universiti Putra Malaysia. There is so much update on the corrected website. To list it out, we must update the location from the website whereby Dr. suggested to us to link it with waze application as to ease the user. Next, is using the hashtag for visibility of the company, and also include hashtags at the website. We also been taught on how to shorten the url of the website as the name was so long, thus, the alternative we used is using bit.do apps. The website that we made was https://makkimbongmk.wixsite.com/restoranmakkimbong19 check out the link guys, no regrets, its the best ever! Not just from its look, the taste of these foods from Restoran Mak Kimbong was also something to be crave for. Since we already developed their website, we can use google analytics in order to track and monitor the website traffic, or we can also use alexa. The best part is that, the picture that we used for the website are all own by them, attractive, and highly recommended!

That's all, adios!

E-commerce Day!

Hi everyone!

So that day, we're all going to the e-commerce day whereby there's a lot of booth and talks on digital apps and of course, its all about e-commerce. We're so excited when we first arrived there, even though we're lost at first as we thought its in another building. But then, we saw a lot of people coming inside the building, and we follow them, and guess what? We're so impressed with the technology inside! Even from my very first step in, there's a magical mirror that makes us change clothes to a fashionable one with just hand swipes. Cool right? So we enter the place and there's lots of known commercial applications of daily use such as shopee, lazada, poslaju, and others that makes it lots of fun. We play around with everything, and I even downloaded my first time ever boost app (which is an e-wallet) and I even have my RM5 cashback upon registration. Its not just that though, I played a dart game at their booth, and I won myself another RM3 for the points I have obtained. The design for their apps, and to ease people through digitalisation, I'm impressed. We're totally ready for the future! Special thanks to Dr. Fareed as he is the one who asked us all to experience the real e-commerce day, instead of just watching it on youtube, or just read it on the net. Whole new experience it is.

Thanks!

Reflective Blog (6/11/19)

Hi everyone!

As usual, this is the reflective blog for 6th November 2019 lab session. It started with listing the feedback and comments of CIP-UPM in order to improvise the website before we completely hand in the website to the owners. One of the thing that we can conclude here is that; the website analytics. In order to make the website visible to others, there's the need to have an extra effort to increase websites traffic. Here's some tips that we obtained from Dr Fareed's lab session:

1. Use interesting and eye-catching keyword for the main page of the website as this is a marketing channel in order to get attention from the netizens.
2. Make sure to click on the same link on google so that the higher the traffic, the higher the position search will be.

Next, is the Google Digital Garage (GDG). Dr Fareed checked on the student's progress in order to make sure that everyone have completed at least from module 1 to module 5. Not to forget alibaba.com that we used to learn on notes 3 to 4. Dr also taught us on how to use Excel properly through Excel Exercise 1, and Dr exposed us to Zoom experience (an application for meeting online with a lot of people), and Ding Talk (a social networking application). That's just it, thanks a lot for reading, I hope that you're having a nice day ahead!

Reflective Blog - CIP-UPM (13/11/19)

Hi everyone!

Hope that you're reading this reflective blog with a good mood today. As for the lab session for 13th November 2019, we did the submission of comments and remarks from CEO presentation of Community Internet Project (CIP-UPM) in Putrablast. Nothing much here it's just that we're evaluating each other's website also, and all of them are so good and interesting. My foodies had done a great job! We also had the chance to comment on each others website using google docs so that future improvement based on other aspects can be made. We also learn about social computing which is implementing our Chapter 8 note on Putrablast, which consists of website evolution model, social media news critique, social media engagement, and social media games/online treasure hunt. It's always exciting when it comes to this type of lab session. Adios!
